It has been a while Clay but two that I had a few years back were Big Rock and Sleeman's Honey Brown.

Don't drink much beer now....interested in taking a trip to Nova Scotia next year but I will more than likely concentrate on the cuisine.

Been A Long Time

It has been a long time since I have worked in an office and was task oriented like an accountant or something of the sort.

I do go to the office a bit and work out of there, but, I can't wait to get back on the road. Office work sucks the oxygen and life out of you...........

In the field, I probably work longer hours but time flies by. Of course if you are busy, it is like a race and I used to like that challenge a lot. Unfortunately, one phone call and sometimes the day is shot.

Don't work too hard, Scott, tomorrow is another day!

I don't really punch it(the clock that is) although from time to time I might like to give it a good rap. It's more like a race, I see if I can get everything done before the hands fall off the stupid thing...

In the eighties

In the eighties I owned several food places including a full service restaurant with bar.

I am not a drinker at all but I used to go to the State liquor store to pick up liquor every week. It was weird because, at that time (I am not sure if it has changed now) you could order beer from distributors but had to go to the liquor store to buy the hard stuff.

Anyway, the only one that was in demand that was specifically from Scotland was Glenmorangie. It was expensive and we charged a premium but I remember one regular guest who had two with every meal, three times per week. He was very wealthy so I equated that to Glenmorangie being pretty good.

You might know more about that than I.

The national beverage of Scotland? Especially a nice oakey flavored malt. Too early in the day to be getting excited about this....oh well, it will be five o'clock in a mere 7 hours or so...

Dog,

Just let it go. Blogging is about discourse and discussion. There have been multiple times when Mike or you or I have changed our views and said; 'you know, you have a point'.

Like we are all allowed to have discussion, so is atari1977. More than likely he would want us to be discussing sports (a total distraction to current events), although I must say that the Red Sox keep me occupied for many hours in the summer. I love to keep the stats and work the numbers! It is like an aphrodisiac to current events.

My belief is that if atari1977 wants to have discussion, we will discuss any topic. I have offered to write anything on any subject (except sports). The offer is out there. Hey, did you read my blog on music?????

Grab a BUDWEISER, sit back, relax and give some of that material a listen. Let's move beyond any attempt at censorship. Just because you don't like what a person says or how people discuss things does not make our exchanges worthless or ones that NO ONE wants to read.

Let's stay civil and move on. There is nothing, Dog, more important than back and forth debate and discourse. It may look on the outside like fighting but at the end of the day we all communicate by email and have a great time.....I am not sure if you are open to off site emails, but go to my site and send me yours.

I have some information for you off line. Let it go, Dog...it takes all kinds!

Clay -

As a reader of these (occasionally) great blogs, I appreciate the reminder to folks that just because a point is made, a counter-point does not always HAVE to be made. The blog typically becomes a muddled "he-said, she-said" round of stereotypical bickering and insults that NO ONE wants to read.
