The next time I am in the library, I will bring you the General's recipe. It is best made with a deep fryer, but I have used a deep skillet in the past. It is so nice to see you here.

I will be by soon...I am engrossed in the Sword Of Shannara series, which as you know, you turned me on to two years ago with Terry Brooks latest books. It seems this series is about thirty years old, and my husband has them all! So I have been really busy. What a wonderful bunch of books; I can't put them down! I also just read "The Glass Castle" by Jeannette Walls ...absolutely out of this world fabulous!!!!!!!!

Thanks Bill, yes that is a great picture. I don't think my facial shape and expressions have changed at all either! My brother on the other hand; would be unrecognizable. He grew into his body and is a tough NYC police officer (nothing like that adorable skinny little boy in the pic) LOL!!!! He's still a gem though and will always be my baby bro:)

Let me know how those burgers are when you try them...too good!!!!!

My brother is two years younger than me, but our birthdays are only four days apart. Every year our family would have a celebration for the both of us on the same day, and that is how it was always done. I think I used to hate sharing my cake with him, and maybe even thought that I would have gotten more presents if people didn't have to spend twice as much on the two of us! As the years went on though, I would have to admit that I loved sharing this event with him and became sad for the times he wasn't there.
