Playoff Season

|

A lot of the local teams have been eliminated from championship contention, but there are still four remaining in the hunt.

The second season continues this afternoon when the third seeded Wilton-Lyndeborough boys soccer team travels to Hanover to face Lisbon, the seventh seed, in the Class S semifinals at 4 p.m.

The underdog 12th seeded Mascenic boys soccer team will play top ranked and undefeated Gilford Thursday at 6 p.m. at Merrimack Valley in the Class M semifinals.

On Saturday, the first year club football team, the Granite State Panthers, will make their postseason debut on the road against the Hillsboro-Deering/Hopkinton RedHawks. The game will be played at 1 p.m.

And last, but certainly not least, the ConVal football team, appearing in the Division III playoffs for only the second time in program history, will travel to face second ranked Portsmouth under the lights on Saturday night at 7 p.m.

Check my blog over the next few days for snipets on the games.
