The sun is shining and the cars are on the track for the first race of the day, the Whelen Modified Tour New England 100. Doug Colby will start from the pole in his No. 19 Chevy, while Sprint Cup drivers Ryan Newman and Kasey Kahne will have to work their way up from the middle of the field.
