Hot Dogs
This is a little off topic, but I need some help from all of you in blog land.
I am writing an article about hot dogs for the Monitor's food page and would like to know were are some of your favorite hot dog places. Where do you enjoy eating a hot dog? Let me know and I'll check it out.

Hebrew National are my favorite, too. I did a taste testing last summer and those were the winner with me.
Hot Dogs
My favorite place to get them are the little stands at events that have steamed hot dogs.
A new debate
Now there's a whole new debate: How do you like your hot dogs cooked? Steamed, grilled, or fried? In New Jersey there is a place called Rutt's Hut that actually deep fries their hot dogs. They are crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. They are called rippers since they rip open when the cook.
If you are in Michigan...
If we ever get you to come visit us in Northern Michigan, there is a new place here called House of Dogs. They have numerous dogs with various toppings. Yummy. My hubby tried a deep fried dog not too long ago and liked it.

Sounds like my kind of place. I would be in hot dog heaven!
Usually if hot dogs are to be had, I don't eat them out.... We always get kosher dogs if we eat them at home, usually Hebrew National.... The way I figure, if it's kosher, at least it's being made with some standard in mind.
