Getting Out on the Town

In my search for everything GLBT here in New Hampshire, I stumbled upon a website that seems to be a great resource for finding things to do and meeting others in the community. GayNH.com has community calendar listings, resources for GLBT social and political groups in the state, and also information about the club scene here in NH.

I have to admit I'm not the most up to speed on the latest and greatest GLBT events in the state, so I'll be referring to this site from time to time. I was surprised to see how full the calendar of events section was. It looks like there's a lot going on in the community in NH, so be sure to check out the listings and see if anything appeals to you.

There are also a good number of GLBT social groups in the state, spread out across the various counties. It's always reassuring to know that you're not alone, so if you are at any time, many of these groups offer "safe space" meetings where you can meet others while keeping your identity to yourself outside of the group.
