The Headwaters of the Saco River

Saco Lake, tons of people enjoy the Saco River each summer and here is where it starts. Except for the small streams that come out of the Presidential Range, this is the beginning of the Saco River. Right of of Route 302 you can't find an easier lake to get to, well maybe lake is a bit strong of a word for it, its really a pond. There's also a tiny like trail that wanders around the lake/pond that's flat and easy to enjoy with little kids that need to get out of the car for awhile.
