Skiing off the Groomed Trails

New Hampton | Exploring New Hampshire
There's plenty of skiing outside of the usual resorts in NH. Grab a map and head out to the Kancamagus Highway or north of the Notches and stretch out without a groomer in sight. The Wilderness Trial just east of Lincoln is great for a short or long cross-country trek. If you more into Telemark or alpine skiing head to some of the areas around Pinkham Notch. Without groomers, cell phones or crowds it's important to make sure you've got the right equipment and knowledge to hit the obscure skiing here in New Hampshire.

Welcome Joe!
Nice to have you here. I am looking forward to all of the beauty you have to show us through your lens and narrations. New Hampshire is indeed a place where Nature is alive and well!
I'd like to share my favorite picture with you (I took this in my backyard in Andover two years ago).
Enjoy yourself here..it's a lot of fun (of course I haven't posted in a while, but the holidays have me running crazy!)
