Greater Concord | Exploring New Hampshire
It's only about a 4 minute drive from the village of North Conway, Cathedral Ledge. In the summer anyone can get to the top, via hiking, rock climbing, bike or if all else fails use the auto road. In the middle of a New Hampshire winter there are far fewer options, this guy, Tim Martel is working his way up to the top with ice axes and crampons. He happens to be on a route called Repentence, originally climbed in the mid seventies by a couple of local boys - Rick Wilcox and John Bragg. Tim works for Eastern Mountain Climbing School located right in North Conway.
