What can I say?
Oops. I guess that's all I can say.
Haven't posted in a while. Mainly because not only was I super busy with all sorts of activities for the second half of the semester, but also because I got two horrible colds, one right after the other and was pretty miserable for a while. Of course, I got them right when allergy season began, so after the second cold decided to leave, my allergies wanted to come play.
Long story short, I've been super busy and not feeling 100 percent. I also am living with my parents again, at least for the summer, and currently I have no internet there.
I'll save my Mississippi story for another time, though, because that is something I can easily write up at home and then type it into here. I do promise that is coming, though!
Anyway onto some current things....
My Associate's degree is now complete! Commencement was Friday, and it was COLD! I wanted to be happy that we were outside under an ENORMOUS tent, but it was SO cold that it was just miserable. It was fun though. My fiancé completed his in December, so he got to march as well. And of course they put my program second, and his 5th to last. We were there for a while.
As for what's next?
I have no idea. I was lucky enough to have my parents paying for school, however it has been decided that I am now on my own if I wish to continue. It did come as a surprise to me, and now my plans have been set back a little bit. We'll see what happens, I guess. I will be leaving my current job, the one I've had for two years, on June 8th, and I'm waiting to hear about some prospects. I absolutely DESPISE job hunting, though, so it has been a stressful time.
I guess that's all for now....
Mississippi
I can't wait to hear about your adventures in Mississippi. I assume you were down on the coast? I hope that you took time out to go and see the old Hurricane Camille Monument, and the new Hurricane Katrina Monument on the town green in Biloxi.
Nice job
Nice job graduating, congratulations. I'm anxious to hear your MS stories, too. My guess is that you were touched and blessed as much or more than the folks that you went to serve.

Congratulations on graduating, Bri!! The job search is definitely one of the least fun parts of being a graduate, but I'm sure you will find something. Just need to be VERY persistent. ;)
