Is it Tuesday yet?

So it's officially my birthday, both back home and here in New Orleans.   Yep, I'm still here, along with the rest of the ASB crew from school.

We'll be going home on Tuesday, and, as awesome as it is to be enjoying the warm weather, I JUST WANT TO BE HOME.

I will admit, the crew did an awesome job and tried to surprise me tonight with an ice cream cake by the pool.  Since we're spending tomorrow a little scattered (Bourbon Street and a Celtics-Hornets game for some of us), they wanted to do my birthday tonight.  It was fun.

I'm loving the warm weather down here, and will most certainly enjoy two days out of school, along with our sightseeing....  But I'm ready to be home.  We spent six nights all together in Mississippi and were ready to kill each other by the day we were originally supposed to leave.  Now we're in a hotel and having a good time... but it's about time to come home.

No matter where I go and how long I'm gone, it's always good to come home, and I CAN'T WAIT!

I miss my fiancé!  And I can't wait to celebrate my birthday with everyone at home!

More again some other time, possibly when I get home, because I'm sure I have some reflecting to do about the trip in general. :)  For now, it's bedtime so that I can actually celebrate my birthday!
