The Streak is Over
Submitted by Tim Goodwin on January 7, 2010 - 12:12. Greater Concord | The Monadnock Ledger-TranscriptLast night, the ConVal boys basketball team finally ended its regular season losing streak.
The streak began during the 2007-08 season, spanned all 18 games last year and through the first three contests of 2009-10. But now it is over following a 60-46 home victory over Mascenic, guaranteeing there will not be another 0-for-season in Cougar land.

In the Blink of an Eye
Submitted by Tim Goodwin on November 5, 2009 - 15:38. Greater Concord | The Monadnock Ledger-TranscriptAs a journalist, the rule of thumb is to not get attached and/or show any type of bias.
And it is something I feel should be followed to the letter.
But that does not mean you cannot feel for the athletes and coaches that come so close to their goals, but fall just short.
