Bruins vs. Capitals

|

Unfortunately, due to a labor dispute between Versus and DirectTV, Thursday night's season opener (scheduled to air on Versus on Thursday at 7 p.m.) between the Boston Bruins and Washington Capitals could be blacked out. The two parties have until 5 p.m. on Thursday to come to an agreement, otherwise the game will not be shown, leaving Bruins fans in the dark. But fret not, as the Concord Monitor's Gavin Faretra will be in-house, covering the game from the 9th floor at the TD Banknorth Garden with an article to run on Friday.
